Solving tip
Use overlap to find safe squares
Place a long clue as far left as it can go, then imagine it as far right as it can go. Any squares covered in both positions must be filled. The same method works from top to bottom in a column.
- A clue of 8 in a 10-square line always covers the middle 6 squares.
- Once a group reaches its full length, mark the squares at both ends with X.
- Switch between rows and columns whenever one line stops giving you certain moves.
