Source and license policy

PCder lists games with visible source notes.

The catalog is built around attribution. A game page should make it clear where the project came from and what license status PCder found.

Source attribution

Each game page names the source project or the closest verified public source. When a project has moved, PCder may keep the page live while updating the source note.

Source links are written for players first. The goal is to make attribution visible without forcing users to inspect the embedded game files.

License review

PCder favors licenses that fit static web hosting, including MIT, Apache, BSD, GPL, MPL, CC0, and similar open licenses. Some projects need extra review because assets, code, and README files may use different terms.

A listed license is a good-faith note, not legal advice. If a license note is incomplete or wrong, PCder will review a clear correction request.

Takedown and correction requests

Send takedown, source correction, or license questions to contact@pcder.com. Include the PCder URL, the original project URL, and the reason for the request.

PCder can remove an embed, update attribution, or replace a build while a source or rights question is checked.
